Our clients were riding with their three children in their own semi-truck. The semi-trucks collided in a massive impact and two children (age 8 and 5) were ejected and died at the scene. We hired two of the best accident reconstruction expert engineers in the country to determine how the crash occurred and the case was won using the data from the trucks’ electronic control module (ECM). The ECM data proved how fast the trucks were going before impact and showed that the other driver was driving too many hours in violation of the Federal Hours of Service Regulations.
