One woman killed and another suffered traumatic injuries in Oak Brook crash

Oak Brook police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that resulted in one woman dead and another suffering from traumatic injuries. An initial investigation reports one vehicle was traveling west on 31st street, west of Regent Drive when the vehicle went over the median into eastbound lanes. The vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle traveling the opposite direction.

Lombard Man Killed in Car-Bicycle Crash

A Lombard man was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Route 83 and 16th Street in Oak Brook, Illinois on November 8, 2015. Police say the man entered the intersection and was struck the vehicle, driven by a Westmont man in his 50s.

Police say that one vehicle, a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine, was eastbound on Fabyan Parkway turning left onto Route 31/Batavia Avenue when a westbound Jeep struck the Alpine.

On September 8, 2015, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a semi-truck ran a red light on Lake Street at Glen Ellyn Road and crashed into an SUV in Bloomingdale, Illinois. The truck driver was eastbound on Lake Street when he crashed into the SUV crossing Lake Street on Glen Ellyn Road.

Couple in fatal Lake Shore Drive Crash were going to Ravinia

An Indiana couple was traveling to Ravinia last night when their car was reported to have been traveling around a curve at a high rate of speed when it skid off the road. The vehicle knocked over a light pole and came to rest on its roof near the lakefront path and Kathy Osterman Beach. The woman who was killed was a front seat passenger. Witnesses reported seeing her possibly ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the car suffered head injuries and was listed in critical condition.
