On June 10, 2020, a 77-year-old Naperville man and a 71-year-old Naperville woman were hit by a car at Hobson Road and Wehrli Road in Naperville. The male victim, whose identity has not been released yet, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital. The female victim, whose identity has also not been released, died while at the hospital the following day.
Authorities say the driver was a 64-year-old Naperville woman who was trying to turn her 2017 Toyota Tundra onto westbound Hobson Road.
