If a loved one was killed or injured by a drunk driver, you’re justified in wanting everyone involved held responsible. This can include the people or businesses that may have overserved the driver. In order to obtain total justice, it’s important to have an experienced and compassionate attorney investigating every angle in order to fully compensate you and your family. Your attorney will also be able to preserve all evidence to prove to the insurance companies that the at-fault driver was intoxicated and responsible for the crash.
It’s also important to have sufficient uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage (UM/UIM) on your own car insurance policy, just in case you’re involved in a crash with someone who has little to no insurance available. For more information about UM/UIM coverage, please see our blog post on the topic.
