On Behalf of | Dec 2, 2016 | Car Accidents

A major car crash in Naperville, Illinois, on December 2, 2016, resulted in the deaths of 2 drivers and a passenger. The crash occurred on westbound I-88 near Mill Street at 12:55 a.m., when Domenic Andreoini, 30, of Elgin, drove in the wrong direction and crashed head-on with Ali Erhaima, 32, of Aurora, and his passenger, Shiva Inampudi, 40, of Naperville. Illinois State Police pronounced all 3 dead at the scene.

Witnesses say Andreoini, originally traveling westbound, lost control of his vehicle before hitting a barricade, causing him to spin around and drive in the wrong direction. Police investigated the crash for hours before opening up traffic around 7:00 a.m. While there was no evidence of alcohol at the scene, police are still investigating as to what caused the crash.
