A Lombard man was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Route 83 and 16th Street in Oak Brook, Illinois on November 8, 2015. Police say the man entered the intersection and was struck the vehicle, driven by a Westmont man in his 50s.
The bicyclist, Pedro Jimenez, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene by the responding officers and paramedics. The driver was taken to the Oak Brook Police Department, where he gave a statement and was released. Authorities are still reconstructing the accident, and no charges have been filed.
