A deadly motorcycle-car crash in Romeoville, Illinois claimed the life of a 58 year-old woman after her motorcycle was hit by a car making a left turn. The crash occurred on May 18, 2015 at Weber Road and Grand Boulevard, according to police.
The investigating police officers say the victim, Pamela Jimenez, was on her motorcycle going north on Weber Road when a car made a left turn from southbound Weber Road onto Grand Boulevard and struck Jimenez. The car driver, Helen Anderson, 82, of Plainfield, was ticketed for failing to yield while turning left. Both drivers were transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.
Jimenez died shortly after arriving at the hospital, while Anderson was released with only minor injuries.
