Drunk Driver Injures Self, At Least Two Others In Wrong-Way Crash

A drunk driver caused a head-on collision while traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway near North Avenue on November 16, 2014. Authorities say that the crash happened at 3:50 am Sunday morning. The wrong-way driver was reported to be a male operating a Toyota Camry, and was charged with driving under the influence.

With an investigation ongoing, details are limited. However, paramedics and firefighters transported the driver and at least two others to nearby hospitals for emergency care. The names, ages, and genders of the victims have not been made public yet. There are reports that none of the injuries are life-threatening.
