On Behalf of | Sep 15, 2014 | Car Accidents

On August 29, 2014, Mathys & Schneid filed a lawsuit in Kane County against the City of Aurora and a City employee after the employee struck our client’s car while driving a City-owned vehicle. The crash occurred at Aurora Avenue and Zengele Avenue in Aurora, Illinois on August 31, 2013. The lawsuit alleges that the Aurora employee was negligent when he failed to stop for traffic, crashed into the back of our client’s car and caused various injuries. The lawsuit also alleges that the City of Aurora is responsible for the actions of its employees.

Our client was on her way to work when she was unexpectedly hit by the City employee. As a result of the crash, our client suffered a severe back injury, a concussion, and other injuries that caused her a lengthy recovery.

In some car accidents, the at-fault driver and the owner of the car are different people. Based on the details of your case, your attorney at the Law Offices of Mathys & Schneid can decide who is really responsible for the crash and your injuries.
