Mark W. Mathys
Mark W. Mathys is an experienced and respected trial attorney who has dedicated his legal career to representing individuals and their families whose lives have been tragically changed as a result of a serious personal injury or death. He has successfully tried many personal injury cases before juries throughout Illinois, including a multi-million dollar jury verdict in DuPage County, one of the nation's most conservative counties.

To ensure that the rights of injured victims are also represented outside the courtroom, Mr. Mathys continues to be very active in both local and national bar associations, including the DuPage County Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. He serves on the DuPage County and Kane County Bar Association's Civil Practice Committees as well as the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association's Medical Negligence Committee.
Mr. Mathys received his undergraduate degree with honors from St. Norbert College in 1990 and his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1993. He was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1993. Mr. Mathys is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court. He has taught classes on legal issues at National Louis University and DePaul University, including instructing DePaul University's National Intercollegiate Mock Trial Team. Over the years, Mr. Mathys has presented numerous trial advocacy lectures to his peers, as well as spoken to students and civic organizations on the importance of our jury system and its role of protecting injured victims in our society.
